旁白:On a winter night,the lucky god arrived at the hut.A fairy called the Luck Fairy visited.Fred and Doris were very surprising to see the Luck Fairy.

旁白:Then she disappeared. Fred and Doris went out and saw a hen standing under the tree. They fed the hen every day. A few days later, the hen laid some gold coins. Fred and Doris picked it up. They were surprised.
妻子:What should we do with the gold coins?
农夫:We should return them back to the Luck Fairy.
妻子:But where can we find her?
农夫:We can send them to the poor. I don’t think we need them.
旁白:Since then, the hen laid one gold or silver coin every day. The news was known by many people in the town. A thief knew the news, too.
小偷:What a great hen it is! If I get it, I can get a lot of money.
旁白:On a moonless night, the thief stole the hen.
小偷:I am so happy. I will get lots of money if I sell gold coins in the market! To let the hen lay more gold coins, I must give the hen good food to eat.
旁白：The thief waited and waited……However, the hen didn’t lay any gold coins any longer.
